"There
is feeling behind those face melting guitar riffs, just
listen to it and you can hear it, composing the music
on a sub-conscious level that encompasses the band and
their instruments." - David Couchman, Surface

Since 2006, He Who Dares have stayed
true to our founding principle; write good music that
we enjoy playing, no matter what the style or what others
are doing.
Formed in Maidstone, Kent by brothers
Paul (drums) and David (bass) Bond, He Who Dares added
Russell Jemmett (guitar) and Dom Phillips (vocals) to
complete the lineup. Taking influences from bands such
as Muse, Snow Patrol, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead
and Biffy Clyro, the band began creating their own sound.
In 2010, the departure of Dom Philipps and the arrival of Joe Andrews
as the band's new front person added a new fresh influence to the band, and new
material came together very quickly. The results of this was the EP 'A Little
Bit of Something', released in March 2011.
Getting great reviews wherever they
play live, He Who Dares aim to keep pushing their music in the live gig scene
throughout 2011. |
